No, the institutions that wish to provide this service should undergo a registration process with the CVM in order to certify that controls and safekeeping are carried out in an appropriate manner.

The provision of services begins upon receiving the original document for the contract’s target asset (Promissory Notes, CCB or CCI) for which we will provide physical safekeeping, acting as a trustworthy depositary institution.

To carry out the physical custody of titles and ensure their conformity to the market, the chain of endorsements should be observed in accordance with the Central Depository manual. If the document isn’t in conformity with the necessary requisites, we will be unable to confirm the registration of the title at the Central Depository and will get in touch to correct the situation as quickly as possible.

We are responsible, through the use of the issuer’s financial assets, for the settlement of financial events related to the assets at the Central Depository, which receives the aforementioned resources and distributes them to investors.
